Google, Amazon and the other giants are different from people-search sites. You're their customer, so you can't make them forget you while you use them. You can shrink what they keep and stop it being used for ads. Each step below links to the company's own directions.

Tick each step when you've done it. Your checkmarks are saved only in this browser. You'll need to sign in to each account on the company's own site; we never see your accounts.
Good to know
What these steps can't do
Some data stays. Companies keep certain records for legal, security and billing reasons even after you delete your history.
Tracking on other sites continues. Ads and analytics code on other websites still report to these companies. Your browser's tracking protection, or a privacy-focused browser, helps with that part.
Deleting your account is the only full exit. Every company here lets you do it, and the directions above cover where to start. Download your data first.
Settings change. Companies move their menus often. If a step no longer matches, the linked directions are kept up to date by the company, and you can report a broken link.
