People-search sites publish home addresses, phone numbers and relatives' names. Work down this list to take yourself off the biggest ones. Your progress is saved only in this browser.
Work down the list. Each opt-out link takes you straight to the site's removal page, which finds your record for you. A few sites need the link to your profile first, so those also have a Find your profile link. Sites marked Priority are the most widely used. Sites often relist people, so re-check anything you opted out of more than 60 days ago.
Opting out is always free. If a site makes you wait while it "builds a report," asks for payment, or offers a background check, you're on a sales page. Close it and use the opt-out link here instead.
